I was crying as well in reading it. What an amazing reassurance that you received.

Your life is in God's hands and it will not end till you have accomplished your purpose here on earth. And if/when your purpose has been accomplished, you'll be at peace in passing into the next chapter of your life. Since you have walked with God and served Him most of your life, you no doubt have much to look forward to.

Don't let the doctor take your hope away by sowing doubts about the surgery's use or success. Otherwise, you may as well not go through with it. Trust that if you still have work to do on the earth, the healing angels will guide the doctor/s and all will be well.

I some ways -- maybe not fully, but to some degree -- you can say with the apostle Paul:
Phil 1:20 I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.
Phil 1:21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
Phil 1:22 If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know!
Phil 1:23 I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far;
Phil 1:24 but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body.
Phil 1:25 Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith,
Phil 1:26 so that through my being with you again your joy in Christ Jesus will overflow on account of me.

Here is another encouraging verse that an older couple we met on our walk last Saturday pointed us to:
Isa 46:3 “Listen to me, [Larry], you whom I have upheld since you were conceived, and have carried since your birth.
Isa 46:4 Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain l you and I will rescue you.

A few days ago, I gave a talk to a group about my spiritual journey and a few lessons that I have learned along the way. I'll share a few points with you.

We are all God’s children made in His image, originally created all good, and eventually, despite the sins that are presently defiling our souls, everyone will return to their God-given perfection or even transcend it through God-given Divine Love transforming their heart and soul.
We are all equal in the eyes of God, and loved equally. Let’s not judge and condemn others or ourselves for deep underneath whatever it is that may make us or others unlovable is a soul yearning for love. Instead, let’s view all individuals with the eyes of compassion and love. Also, we need to have love and compassion for ourselves, for we too struggle in our own way. Be gentle with yourself and others and strive to be in harmony and a close relationship with God, for this will help with our worries and cares and our guidance will become easier to discern.

Well, Larry, I am sending prayers for peace, faith and love, come what may tomorrow. Your'e in God's loving hands -- may His will be done. I suspect there will be another God's Applause story on how God performed miracles throughout the duration of the surgery and/or during recovery. But if I am wrong, I am convinced that God's and the angels' Applause awaits you on the other side.

Much love,
EvaEva Pecknoreply@blogger.com
